INTRO TO DRAWING TECHNIQUES April 23rd - May 14th 6:30-8:30pm ADULTS
Intro to Drawing - Join our Introduction to Drawing course to build a strong foundation in drawing techniques. Over four weeks, you'll begin with learning basic skills, like ways of drawing a line and creating simple geometric shapes. Building on that knowledge, you'll progress to rendering surfaces, exploring light and shade and composing structurally sound artwork. In addition to practicing drawing techniques, students will study ways to visualize three-dimensional space and simple methods to represent that space on two-dimensional surfaces. Classes will consist of hands-on drawing exercises from observation, short lectures, slide shows and critiques.
